I am Vivi, the founder of Meetwarm. Today we won’t talk about products, let’s talk about our stories with cats and dogs.
If you walk into Meetwarm’s office, the first thing that greets you may not be the busy typing of a keyboard, but a lazy “meow” or a light and lively coda. In the eyes of many people, the office is synonymous with rigor and efficiency, but in my heart, Meetwarm is first and foremost a “home” that can accommodate all life, carry warmth and happiness.
In our corporate culture, there is a principle that colleagues consider to be the “soul” – a culture of happiness. I have always believed that only by feeling loved and healed within can one unleash a continuous stream of creativity in their work. And the source of this happiness largely comes from the special “employees” in our office.
Lai Dingdan: The Blessing of Working Together in Wind and Rain
Going back more than ten years, when the company was just starting out, every day was spent busy. On a chilly winter day, I accidentally stumbled upon a shivering Chihuahua by the roadside. It looked so small and small, with a look of terror in its eyes, but stubbornly followed me far away. Looking at its wet big eyes, my heart instantly softened.
I took it back to that rudimentary small office and named it ‘Lai Order’. This may sound a bit ironic, but it was my most basic wish at the time – hoping that this little guy could bring some good luck to the startup company and make the business thrive.

This companionship has lasted for over ten years.
The current ‘incoming orders’ are no longer the panicked little wanderers, they are the’ meritorious veterans’ of our company. It witnessed us moving from a small cabin to a spacious office building, witnessing the joining of every partner, and also witnessing every shining moment of Meetwarm’s growth. It is our mascot and the best companion for everyone when they are tired. Whenever colleagues encounter difficulties, as long as they look back and see that small figure yawning in their nest, the tense emotions seem to dissipate for the most part.
‘Shuangshuang’and Six Little Angels: Continuation of Love
In this atmosphere surrounded by love, my son, Vice President of Meetwarm, also continues this kindness. He is also a person full of reverence for life. Years ago, he brought back a poor and cute little stray cat on the roadside and named it “Shuangshuang”.
The meaning of ‘Shuangshuang’ is unique in the world ‘. Under our careful care, it has completely transformed from a pitiful and even somewhat intimidating little creature to a confident ‘office lady’. It has its own exclusive nest and a group of “poop shoveling officers”, which is the best epitome of our company’s inclusiveness.
The most magical chapter of the story was written last month.
That day, there was more anxiety and anticipation in the office than usual. With everyone’s company and care, “Shuangshuang” gave birth to six adorable kittens peacefully. At that moment, the entire company seemed to be overwhelmed by a tremendous sense of joy. Looking at these six fragile yet strong little lives, I was deeply touched. They are not only the children of ‘Shuangshuang’, but also the miracles that our Meetwarm family protects together.

Why do we allow pets to enter?
People often ask me, ‘Vivi, does allowing employees to bring pets to work not affect their work?’
My answer is always firm and composed: “How could that be? They are a part of our work and a source of our happiness
I fully understand that in this fast-paced society, many colleagues are young people who are far away from their hometowns and working alone in big cities. Living alone inevitably leads to loneliness, and busy work often makes people feel tense. When colleagues can bring their beloved cats and dogs with them, the loneliness caused by overtime disappears completely when touched by the furry touch.
At Meetwarm, we not only tolerate pets, but also respect every living soul. We deeply understand that true corporate care is not about cold KPIs, but about being able to cover your heart with a warm blanket when you need it.
Here, you can hold your cat and reply to emails, and discuss solutions with the company of your dog. The presence of pets dissolves the sense of hierarchy in the workplace, brings colleagues closer together, and more importantly, reminds us not to forget the ability to love and be loved no matter how fast we walk.
Meetwarm is not only a place to create business value, but also a ‘healing’ field. We trust and support each other here, living together like family.
In the future, the story of Meetwarm will continue to be written. And I will always guard this small world, together with my employees, “Lai Dingdan”, “Shuangshuang” and those six little ones, under the nourishment of love, we will go to a wider sea of stars.
